About Me
I am Grandfather to three precocious and adorable young girls.
I am old physically, mature spiritually, and young at heart.
My heart sings to classical and country music alike. I cry during Mendelssohn’s and Bruch’s violin concertos. The first notes to La Boheme bring me to tears.
From Frankfurt am/Main, Germany to NW Illinois was a 80 year journey, filled with sadness, joy, fear, acceptance and contentment. During those years I have explored a variety of ways to think about and deal with this world of ours.
A bucket full of curiosity was my guide.
My work life and learning experiences will be revealed as I write my stories.
My aim in this stage of my life is to play a part in creating a world that is safe and sustainable for my grandchildren by imparting lessons learned and wisdom acquired through the stories taken from my life experiences.
As my warrior brothers will recognize, “as a man among men, I dance with my father.”
